Book Launch: Letters to Tiptree

We’ll be launching a new book by local independent publisher Twelfth Plant Press. The book is called Letters to Tiptree and I think the publishers own blurb sums it up best.

“In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Alice Bradley Sheldon’s birth, and in recognition of the enormous influence she had on the field, Twelfth Planet Press is publishing a selection of thoughtful letters written by science fiction and fantasy’s writers, editors, critics and fans to celebrate her, to recognize her work, and maybe in some cases to finish conversations set aside nearly thirty years ago.” We’ll be kicking off at about 6 pm and going through to about 7 pm when we’re moving over the lane for an interview with one of the editors of the collection and a local academic about the Letters to Tiptree project as well as Alice Bradley Sheldon and her works and influence.
