For anyone who has not been paying attention, We had a store visit on Saturday from Catherynne Valente. She signed a bunch of books and did a lovely reading from ‘The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making’ and answered questions before joining other attendees at The Generous Squire for some beer and conversation.

A few folks from the book club, which will be discussing her book ‘Deathless’ on April 1st, even took the opportunity to ask some book-club style questions. If you want to know what her replies were, then you’d best come along to the April Book Club.

To say it was a fun afternoon would be a gross understatement. Many thanks to Catherynne for taking time out of her holiday to hang out and chat with us.
