In Store Event – With Robin Ince

Just after Easter we’ll be getting a visit from comedian, writer, science enthusiast and bibliophile Robin Ince. Robin will be in town for his Happiness Through Science tour and I highly recommend getting along to his Perth show if you can.

As cool as his science related stuff is, it’s another of his projects that particularly intrigued me. The Bad Book Club documents Robin’s search for the very worst books he could find, the heroic failures of literature. Along the way he meets the misguided and the daft, the incompetent and delusional, all preserved for posterity.

Robin will be in store on the 8th of April from 6pm, where he will be signing copies of his book and also conducting a short Q&A. After that, about 7-ish we’ll all be moving across the lane to Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub to continue the evening in a convivial setting with the potential for beverages. Bookings are not required for the event and we will have copies of Robin Ince’s Bad Book Club on hand for $24.99, though stock is limited.
