As with the first two, this is mixture of fantasy, folklore and mystery-thriller. We return to ancient Ireland as once again the healer Blackthorn and her friend and sometime bodyguard Grim are sought out to help someone with an unusual problem. As with the other two in the series, there is a familiar fairytale at the kernel of the book, though I won’t spoil that for you by telling you what it is. Suffice to say that it offers a few interesting possibilities, and I’m looking forward to what Juiliet does with them.

We’ll be starting in the store from 11am with a signing, reading and a short Q and A with Juliet. At about midday we’ll be wandering over to The Generous Squire for lunch, or just drinks and a chat. We’re expecting to wind up around 1.30 – 2.00. Please remember that as The Generous Squire is a licensed venue anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
